Submission & Contact Tips Before You Submit

We accept tips about NJ police officers and state agents (local members of the military or different state agencies for example) who have been given free reign to terrorize their respective communities. Before sending in a tip here are some things to consider:

  • Is the individual currently employed as an officer/agent?
  • Are they currently facing any charges or civil court proceedings?
  • What evidence/community reports exist on the officer/agent?
  •  Has there been any media or independent coverage of the officer/agent?
  • Has there been any “disciplinary” measures from their respective department/agency, and if so what does it look like?

Submissions

We realize that holding the state and its agents accountable comes with certain risks, so all submissions should be anonymous. We do not want to know or need to know who you are. Any actionable submission will be credited as “anonymous submission”, as a protective measure, there are no exceptions.

When sending emails please use a one-time use email account from the following:

We will not accept any submissions or tips from any other provider.

We also recommend sending submissions through the Tor browser or by using Tails. This can also be used in combination with a VPN like Riseup VPN.

If your submission includes photos, we strongly recommend that you remove any metadata using tools like EXIF Purge, Exif Cleaner, or Systemli.org’s metadata cleaner.
