The following information is being released to the public as both officers are still employed and pose a serious threat to public safety in the larger NJ community.
Lucfred Petion decided to transfer from the Newark police department, because of the heat he gained from both court proceedings and the recent news media outlets. He joined the Union police department on March 9, 2022. Petion, 36, still resides right next to Newark in Irvington, NJ.

Lorenzo J. Orsi is reportedly still with the Newark police department and also employed as a marine in the US military. Orsi was deployed to Afghanistan in 2018 prior to his recent murdering of Restrepo, which draws larger questions about his conduct to Afghani people during his time occupying the country. What war crimes is he responsible for? Orsi, 26, still lives in Newark.
